The Kobalt hammer drill is equipped with a 2-speed mechanical gear box; Speed 1 provides 550 RPM while speed 2 provides 2000 RPM. Hammer mode delivers up to 32,000 blows per minute (BPM). Easily select between hammer, drill, and screwdriver mode using independent selector ring. A second selector ring provides 24 clutch settings. The metal gear case and nylon plastic handle maximizes durability. A bright LED is located on the foot of the tool to provide lighting on the workpiece. The Kobalt hammer drill includes a premium Jacobs brand metal 1/2-in ratcheting chuck for increased durability. A 2-position bit holder and metal belt clip are included with mounting positions on both sides of the tool. A metal auxiliary handle with comfortable grip is included for increased safety in bit binding conditions. The included soft bag is provided for added convenience of storing and transporting.
